Beautifully expressed. I came to accept that I’m a cog in the Medium wheel. The Instagram wheel. Fill in the blank… We’re cogs. We’ve become performers and salespeople …that when you step away and reflect on the self.. you realize the game. Now I’m able to come back to social media balanced in my self worth ( from within) and share that worth. I no longer ask social media to love me. That’s a fault line waiting to rupture. Love and acceptance are only sustainable when we trust the love we have for ourselves 💫🤍
