I feel it would be helpful if we ALL stood back and re-examined why we’re here. Obviously we all want something and we require a place to fit in where we can be whole. This writing career will bring up the holes in your self faster than anything else because you (and me too.. I’m not pointing fingers) want acceptance. So without the applause or the comments we feel ignored. I had to work on this for a LONG time. It’s one thing to write well and be honest and ask this of others (because we ask it if ourselves) but other people don’t fill the hole. We fill our own lack with patience. Acceptance. Appreciation for own own standards. I’m afraid this might sound “preachy” .. yikes not my intention. Sorry! Writing is the easy part but publishing is a mental toughness game. Keep fleshing out your own rules!!!
