I have a blog that only a handful of people read. I'm OK with that...it's not ideal, but I use it simply as a space to "talk" to readers more in-depth. The ticket going forward is to write from the heart...always...and find multiple genres writing styles and forms to attract readers. I'm finding blogging is a fraction of the messaging. If someone likes my books and wants more from me they can read the blog for a more intimate message. It feels like staying true to yourself, as your story indicates, is more personally rewarding and I would agree 100%. We're cogs in the Google Machine wheel. But we're not machines!
