I’m glad I found you!! Thanks for this insightful story. I’m getting more and more comfortable with marketing but it was almost debilitating at first. Once I got past the hurdle of thinking people should follow me or read my work because they know me (and most don’t) and the sting of rejection that came with it .. . I began looking for ways to attract my authentic audience. I’m slowly figuring this out but you have to stay with this for years to build an audience. No magic wands getting waved nor instantaneous success for most of us!
