I am hanging up my hat trying to get busy Medium writers… who are trying to get other busy Medium writers to read what they are writing on Medium…to read my work. Still with me?! The only way to grow an audience is to have enormous patience and play the long game. Writers write. And on Medium we’re just a bunch of writers writing and waiting to be read. I share my stories on Instagram happily for non-Medium readers. I gave up on making any money on Medium.. at least for the foreseeable future…and I’m personally ok with that. I know others won’t be. I’m choosing readers over $ and it’s a lot less stressful this way. For me. No expectations.
